Viktor Kobylianski is a Ukrainian-born contemporary artist living and working in Portland, Oregon. Born in Kyiv and later relocating to the United States in 2014, his practice is shaped by experiences of migration, cultural transition, and the evolving nature of identity.
Drawing from both personal history and broader collective narratives, Kobylianski explores themes of memory, belonging, resilience, and transformation. His work reflects the tension between origins and reinvention, examining how place, displacement, and lived experience shape individual perception.
