Federica Furbelli (1988, Varese, Italy) is a visual artist whose practice reflects on
psychogeography and nomadism as tools for establishing a profound relationship with
landscape and environment. Walking, sailing, and slow travel become artistic and spiritual
acts that resist contemporary immediacy and promote mindfulness, creating sensory spaces
that invite presence and a return to what is essential. She has held numerous solo
exhibitions, including Banana Joe at Malpaís (Barcelona), her most recent show, and has
participated in group exhibitions at Piramidón (Barcelona), kulturundgut (Hamburg), and
Weissraum Design Forum (Innsbruck). She has undertaken residencies at Piramidón,
Fresco (Madrid), and Konvent0 (Berga), and has created murals both in Spain and
internationally, including at NorthWestWalls (Belgium).
