Las nubes no tienen casa, Federica Furbelli’s solo exhibition, brings together recent paintings, drawings, sculptures, and objects that explore landscape as a lived and constantly shifting experience. Rooted in travel, observation, and movement, the exhibition considers our relationship with place through memory, perception, and the body.

Furbelli’s practice is closely connected to psychogeography, nomadism, and slow forms of travel. Walking, sailing, and moving through different territories become both artistic processes and ways of observing the world. Landscapes encountered along the way are not simply represented: they are experienced, remembered, and transformed through gesture, material, texture, and color.

Throughout the exhibition, painting extends beyond the canvas and into the architecture of the gallery. Wood, earth, clay, raw fabric, and found or transformed objects enter into dialogue with the works, blurring the boundaries between painting, sculpture, landscape, and installation. The exhibition invites the viewer to move through the space, slow down, and consider how displacement and impermanence shape our relationship with the places we inhabit.

Federica Furbelli (b. 1988, Varese, Italy) is a visual artist whose practice explores psychogeography and nomadism as ways of establishing a deeper relationship with landscape and territory. She has presented solo and group exhibitions in Barcelona and internationally, including projects at Malpaís and Piramidón in Barcelona, kulturundgut in Hamburg, and Weissraum Design Forum in Innsbruck. Her residencies include Piramidón, Fresco in Madrid, and Konvent0 in Berga, and she has produced mural projects in Spain and internationally, including for NorthWestWalls in Belgium.
