Biography
Christina Gschwantner is an Austrian contemporary artist whose work exists at the intersection of gesture and structure, combining the expressive freedom of Art Informel with the formal clarity of Minimal Art. Through this distinctive balance, she creates abstract compositions that feel both rigorously constructed and emotionally resonant.
Central to Gschwantner’s practice is the dialogue between two seemingly opposing forces: spontaneous, gestural mark-making and carefully ordered compositional systems.
