Alba Fabre developed an early interest in art and initially pursued a degree in Social Education before fully committing to an artistic career, later specializing in muralism.
She trained in Drawing and Painting at the Barcelona Academy of Art, where she currently teaches. Alongside her educational practice, Fabre develops her own artistic work within the field of urban art and collaborates with other artists from her studio in Barcelona.
Her practice is distinguished by an accessible figurative language that at times approaches Impressionism. Through a painting driven by colour, gesture, and expressive intensity, she reflects on the traditions of classical painting while engaging with contemporary concerns. Psychological inquiry and social issues play a central role in her work, giving her paintings both emotional depth and a strong sense of relevance.
